Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities:

M&A and Workforce Reduction Support:

  • Managing employee communications for acquisitions and divestitures.

  • Provide workforce management support, including managing impact lists and assisting with severance calculations.

  • Conduct WARN analysis and mandatory reporting.

HR Compliance:

  • Oversee compliance reporting, including EEO, VETS, AAP, CA Pay, and OFCCP.

  • Manage the Affirmative Action Compliance Program.

  • Ensure state compliance certifications are up-to-date (e.g., Minnesota, Wisconsin, NY, NJ).

  • Fulfill Canada FCP/WEIMS reporting requirements.

  • Manage labor law postings across Broadcom sites.

  • Support internal audits, including Agere Pension audits and I9 audits.

  • Provide support for sales/customer trust initiatives.

  • Assist with vendor risk management (VRM) and policy management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR Operations, and/or HR Projects and Programs, preferably within a large multinational organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience with M&A processes, including drafting communications and managing workforce impacts.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
